Skegness is one of the UK’s oldest seaside resorts and popular with all age groups. Yes it can be bracing with those northerly winds but this typical British holiday destination keeps the holiday makers coming year-after-year. It has so much to offer.
Holidays in Skegness has attracted visitors for decades, and it continues to do so, year-in, year-out. If you’re taking a caravan holiday in Skegness and Ingoldmells and staying at one of the caravan parks in Skegness you will discover that the ‘Blackpool of the East Coast’ has a clean, sandy beach, family-friendly entertainment and much more besides.
In deed the seaside town is just getting bigger and better year-on-year. Millions are spend improving the beach and it’s tourist facilities and 1000’s of new holiday caravans are in new parks in and around the Skegness area.
Here are some recent comments and reviews of Skegness found online:
SUNY MUNY SAYS: But I loved the place and the cleanliness. Normally beaches are full of mess but it was nice and clean. 5 Stars!
Missa86 gave Butlins Skegness 4 stars and says: “We have visited Butlins Skegness three times now and have loved it each time. The entertainment is brilliant for the kids and adults too. Plenty for them to do in the time you are staying there. Admittedly there are some areas that could do with some tlc and improvement ie new carpets in Centre Stage and the Pavilion and also Bobland. Also could do with new rides and games in the funfair and amusements. But above all the holiday park is great. Definitely worth paying a little extra to stay in gold and for the premier dining which is gorgeous food each night in The Deck. We will be returning once again!”
Best holiday I have been to and I have been all over. It’s really clean and tidy. The staff are really helpful. I must admit it is a bit run down and there is room for improvement but it is amazing too. The things to do for kids is unreal. You really need to try it out for your self let me just say I have been to all 3 Butlins and that this one (Skegness) is by far. This is perfect for all the family – Lona1234
“Loved it!” I stayed at Butlins Skegness in April 2013 with my 9 and 12 year old children. We were on a tight budget so I booked the standard room only. We were delighted to see that this included food. My friend paid double for the “gold” self-catering for the same week. There was no difference between our rooms decoration or quality wise. … The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. ★★★★★

I am telling my friends to go to Butlins Skegness because they’d love it. I like the rides, the swimming pool and the shows but even though I am now 17 but I still love the Skyline Gang!
