Skegness Sports Forum Starts Up

SPORTS clubs and organisations in the Skegness area are being invited to join Skegness Sports Forum. The Forum, which is organised by East Lindsey District Council, meets regularly throughout the year to support the development of sports activities within the community.

Forum Chairman, Nigel Roylance, from Skegness Table Tennis Club, explained: “We work closely with clubs to help them grow and develop so they can achieve their aspirations. “We want to encourage more people in our community to be fit and active and by working together we can create more opportunities for local people to take part in sports and ultimately improve their quality of life.”

The next meeting of Skegness Sports Forum will be taking place on Monday, January 17, 2011 at The Pavilion at Skegness Grammar School at 6.30pm.
